Curaçao 2030 SDG Action Week

A week of inspiring local and international speakers, exciting panels and virtual sessions where you can learn more about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and how Curaçao's national priorities are aligned with the Agenda 2030 and the SDGs.

28 September - 2 October 2020

The aim of this first-ever SDG Action Week is to raise awareness on the Agenda 2030, the priority SDGs for Curaçao, create more stakeholder engagement and foster strategic partnerships to improve the effective implementation and localization of the SDGs in Curaçao.

The event will be held completely virtual through a series of Round Table sessions and webinars and will be from Monday September 28th till Friday October 2nd, 2020. The first day will be a formal kick-off with key note speeches and also a visioning exercise for Curaçao. The remaining days we will have morning Round Table sessions with key stakeholders from the People, Planet and Prosperity pillars and also a Round Table on the National Statistical Commission with official data providers and relevant actors. In the afternoon and evening we will have a series of webinars that will focus specifically on the priority SDGs for Curaçao respectively: SDG #1, SDG #3, SDG #4, SDG #7, SDG #8 and SDG #14. Furthermore, there will be sessions on SDG Implementation and Monitoring and a special session dedicated to the Youth and SDGs.
