SDG #3: Ensure healthy lives and promote wellbeing for all at all ages

Ensuring healthy lives and promoting the well-being at all ages is essential to sustainable development.

By focusing on providing more efficient funding of health systems, improved sanitation and hygiene, increased access to physicians and more tips on ways to reduce ambient pollution, significant progress can be made in helping to save the lives of millions.

Health: While the SDGs are inter-sectoral in nature, Sustainable Development Goal 3: “Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages” is centered around health. Good health is key to achieving the SDGs; but it is also a precondition for and an outcome and indicator of sustainable development. Curaçao strives in partnership with among others the United Nations, the Pan-American Health Organization, and the Caribbean Public Health Agency to improve healthcare policies and services.
